About the host

Brenda Zane is a family advocate, podcast host, and nonprofit founder dedicated to serving parents of teens and young adults struggling with substance misuse, addiction, and mental health issues.

After her son battled addiction and a high-risk lifestyle and experienced multiple overdoses, Brenda left her marketing career to help other families navigate the fear and confusion of having a child misusing drugs or alcohol.

Brenda is certified in scientifically proven and evidence-based approaches including the Invitation to Change and Motivational Interviewing, and is a CRAFT-trained parent coach. She facilitates support meetings for The Partnership to End Addiction and is a Certified Mayo Clinic Health and Wellness Coach. With a business background and specialized training, Brenda provides compassionate support to empower families for positive change.
