Overview
When your child is misusing substances, every day can bring new challenges and hard decisions. You may feel pulled in a hundred directions – trying to help your child, keep your household afloat, and take care of yourself all at once.
This 3-part workshop bundle is designed to help you make sense of what’s happening, focus your efforts where they matter most, and approach your child’s situation with a clearer mind and steadier heart. Each session offers practical tools, compassionate insight, and realistic strategies you can begin using right away.
included workshops:
SAFE ENOUGH TO CHANGE:
Learn the details and insights behind what causes someone to stay stuck, what you might be doing to discourage change, and where people ultimately find it more beneficial to change.
STAGES OF CHANGE:
Understand the stages your child may go through as they consider change in their substance use or mental health. This framework will help you meet them where they are, set realistic expectations, and know when and how to offer support.
SPHERE OF CONTROL:
Learn how to identify what’s within your control and what isn’t, so you can direct your time and attention where they’ll make the most difference for both you and your child.
